Tao Cha To-Go
It's time to take Tao Cha to-go! Tao Cha is a local cafe specializing in asian cuisine. They are best known for their rice boxes and boba teas. Tao relates to the principles of yin and yang while Cha means tea.
Brief:
Design a digital menu for a small restaurant or cafe. Could be an existing business or you can create one yourself. The menu should have at least ten food items and a drinks menu that has the ability for users to customize their order. Menu should leverage typography and photos for clear communication.
Solution: Identify and visually reflect the atmosphere of the existing cafe with influences of their asian culture. Inspiration came from the welcoming relaxed atmosphere of the cafe. This digital menu corresponds with the proposed branding which includes a logo inspired by the balance of the yin-yang symbol with the green resembling the color associated with tea.
